Choose Magic

Let’s kids outside!

It’s May and the outside is calling. Wildflowers are covering the hills, trees are in bloom and our local birds are out in full force. It’s time to get outside.

For a young person, getting out on the trails isn’t just about the physical act; it’s about breaking open beliefs. It’s about realizing that the impossible is simply waiting to become possible.

That’s why we are taking on our own challenge—The May Magic Challenge.

The May Magic Challenge

This month, you can contribute to doubling the magic. From now until May 31st, we are matching every donation at No Small Thing up to $5,000.

We know that one in four kids in our community are currently living a life by default rather than design. They simply lack the financial means to access the outdoor classroom.

So we want to get them off the waiting lists and into the outdoors. We did this last year and with your help 17 more kids took part in programs that taught them hiking, climbing, biking and snowboarding.

Your Small Step, Their Giant Leap

Well-being is realized by small steps, but the impact is truly no small thing.

  • We will match your $20 monthly gift - that covers the full cost of a two-month life-changing outdoor program.

Whether it’s rock climbing, snowboarding, or mountain biking, these experiences allow vulnerable youth to claim their power and find their own magic in the outdoors.

If your heart is called to help us reach our $10,000 goal for 2026, now is the time. Together let’s trade the waiting list for the wilderness.

When prompted, select the "No Small Thing Endowment Fund."

Let’s see what happens when we choose magic.
